Modern refrigerants have been developed to be more environmentally safe than many of the early chlorofluorocarbon-based refrigerants used in the early- and mid-twentieth century. These include HCFCs (R-22, as used in most U.S. homes even before 2011) and HFCs (R-134a, used in most cars) have replaced most CFC use. HCFCs, in turn, are supposed to have been in the process of being phased out under the Montreal Protocol and replaced by HFCs such as R-410A, which lack chlorine.HFCs, however, contribute to climate change problems. Moreover, policy and political influence by corporate executives resisted change.Corporations insisted that no alternatives to HFCs existed.
In consequence of using EC technology the operating costs will be reduced. The electronic control is suitable for connection of a magnetic valve. The controller is fitted as standard with a switch of summer and winter settings (magnetic valve open or closed). A potential-free contact can be connected to any desired building managmentsystem. A two or three- way valve can be easily connected to the warm water connections.

In diverse applications such as food packaging, machine tools, industrial drives, data centres and control systems, the control of the liquid media within an acceptable temperature range is critical to successful operation.
Alternatively, the chiller can be installed directly on the filtration unit with the cooling coils immersed in the coolant tank. The heat capacity of such emulsions is slightly lower than that of water / glycol system.
